Astha Kapoor is an avid reader whose first stories were written in gel pen within her college notebooks. She has come a long way from that young girl who was simultaneously afraid of letting anyone see her work and incapable of shutting up about it.
Astha's passion for stories grew from the abundance of books her mother maintained with a zeal throughout her childhood. Her passion for writing them began humbly from school assignments, and the thrill of having created a story out of a blank piece of paper. Her 2007 Young Author trophy still has a place on her mantel.
Astha lives in Noida with her parents, daughter, and the family dog. Her daughter and nephew are the driving force of her life, in the same way that her mom and dad are the inspiration in it. Any stories that come out of her, are made with love for her family.

Astha hopes her stories inspire people to question the narrative, look deeper into what they glean from a familiar tale, and give a new chance to an old story.
